Fabrics:
The original topping was either black pinpoint vinyl or black stayfast canvas. We offer tops in both fabrics. We are also offering alternative color tops, which are non-original.
Rear Window:
As originally, these tops are made with the plastic window sewn in. This is one of the earlier GM tops to have the rear window integrated with the rest of the top. This makes the installation easier than for classic two piece tops.

The summary of our two piece top installation manual can be read via the link below. In these Camaro tops the rear window section has been combined with the main top, making installation even easier.
If you are comfortable renting and using an air driven staple gun then you are a likely candidate for DIY installation. There is stapling and the use of contact cement. There is no sewing.
Hold Down Cables:
Hold down cables are threaded (one cable on each side of the top) through hems in the top. They attach the top to the frame front and back, above the side windows. New cables are recommended with each top. Cables are not visible after complete installation.
Tacking Strips:
We offer replacement tacking strips which are embedded in the top frame front and rear bows. They receive the staples that hold the top to these frame cross bows.
Webbing:
The webbing, or "stay pads" build out the top. Often old pads last through two tops and can be kept on the car under a second top.
