Important Information
Original Factory Color(s): Black, Tan and Light Neutral

The tops on this page will fit Datsun roadsters late 1967 through 1969 with serial numbers as follows: 1600 Datsuns SPL17001 to 27000; 2000 Datsuns SRL 311-01001 TO 13000.

Fastening Kit: This top fastens to the deck with hardware that can be either ordered from us or transferred from the old top. Our hardware kit is listed below, under "accessories." It consists of 10 caps, sockets, eyelets, wheels and 6 common sense fasteners and 8 lift-a-dot fasteners.

Fabrics: The original top fabric was a black cotton cloth closely matched by our Haartz Stayfast canvas. The Haartz pinpoint vinyl is a less expensive topping and easier to keep clean.

Colors: Original tops were black. If you wish another color, or to confirm that you wish a black top, please specify your color choice in the checkout message box. You can view alternative colors via the links (blue above) to our fabric scans. Please jot down your color choice so that you can tell us when you are checking out.

These tops are made with sewn in pads and original rear window configuration.

Hold Down Cables: A cable on each side of the top (embedded in the cable pocket) holds the top to the frame front and rear. We recommend new cables with each top. New cables are listed with "accessories" below.

Boots: Although original boot fabric was pinpoint vinyl, we suggest that you select your boot made of one of the modern slightly flexible boot vinyls. We have scanned color swatches at the boot fabric (blue link) link below.
