The Volvo C70 convertible top fabric was German Sonnenland canvas. This is the most durable of all convertible top fabrics. Our recommendation is that replacement Volvo convertible soft tops be made in the same top fabric.

The Germanex Volvo convertible top replacement.
The Germanex company is a premier manufacturer of Mercedes and Porsche replacement convertible tops. At our behest they began reproducing Volvo C70 convertible tops for us. Final testing was done in early 2007. The Volvo C70 convertible top, manufactured by Germanex, covering all "first generation" (prior to 2006) models, became available for replacement of dealer convertible tops in March of 2007. The Germanex dealer replacement headliner for the Volvo C70 convertible will be available beginning April of 2007.
