Jaguar Convertible Tops and Convertible Top Parts

Jaguar roadsters and drop head coupes, and the modern Jaguar convertibles command careful restoration. The XKE (E type) roadsters and the XK120, XK140 and XK150 roadsters and drop head coupes are collector cars and all contain wood bows that must be examined and replaced when deteriorated in order to guarantee a proper soft top installation.

Wood Top Bows:
Wood top bows or tacking forms are attached to the folding frames and to the rear decks of the earlier Jaguar roadsters and drop head couples. We offer carefully duplicated original replacement wood bows for all Jaguar roadsters that require them.

Top Fabrics:
Original tops were made of British Everflex vinyls. This is a crush grained (leatherette) vinyl. It is closely replicated by the domestic Colonial vinyl. We offer Colonial vinyl tops directly at our site. We also offer custom made British Everflex vinyl tops if requested. We recommend Haartz Stayfast Canvas and German Sonnenland canvas for maximal wear and for the beautiful appearance that canvas provides.
