The first Mercury Monterey was produced in 1952 and the Mercury Monterey convertible was part of this marque. The Mercury Monterey convertible top stayed the same from 1952-1954. The model and the convertible top for the Mercury Monterey was changed periodically and the marque was merged with the Park Lane and then the Marquis until 1970 which was the last year for the convertible version.

Two Part Tops: Can I Install the Mercury Monterey Top Myself?

In particular, the manual applies to these cars which all have a two part convertible top. Owners may purchase the manual to review it before purchasing a convertible top package. If you can use an air compressor driven staple gun (or else our heavy dury electric stapler also offered), and are patient and methodical, you are very likely to be able to install any of these convertible tops.
